Yesterday, the young culinary finalists - Anton Buldakov-Alyushin, Vladimir Motrichuk and Alexander Diyamanshtein - competed in strength, talent and chef's knives for the title of the first children's "MasterChef". The winner of the competition was 13-year-old Anton Buldakov-Alyushin.

- Tomorrow, I’ll probably spend the whole day just standing there like a monument and getting used to the fact that I’m the winner of the first children’s “MasterChef.” And then something very cool will happen in my life. I’ll say figuratively, because it’s too early to talk about anything for sure. In general, in television, on the Internet and in everyday life, I want to come up with something that no one has ever come up with before. So that people say: “Damn, this guy is cool - he can really do something!”- Anton admitted immediately after the victory in his first interview.

However, since the end of February, when the final episode of the MasterChef project was recorded. Children,” Anton has already completed a course at the culinary academy Alain Ducasse in Paris. Both other finalists, as well as a participant in the project, went to study with him Katya Slivinskaya. Well, at least the cash prize of 100 thousand UAH went to only Anton.

Vova Motrichuk, Anton Buldakov-Alyushin and Sasha Diyamanshtein reached the super final of the MasterChef Kids show. The boys faced a decisive battle for the title of the best young chef in the country...

First of all, Hector, Tatyana and Nikolai invited the 20th show “MasterChef Kids” to the studio.

Then the 20 were sent to cheer for the super finalists on the balcony...

...and new guests came to the boys - their relatives.

“The first young “MasterChef” of Ukraine will receive 100 thousand hryvnia!” - said Hector Jimenez-Bravo.

In addition, the winner of the show received a trip to Paris to study at one of the most prestigious culinary schools in the world - the school of Alain Ducasse. “This is one of the most famous and titled chefs of our time,” explained Hector Jimenez-Bravo. - Among his students are hundreds of the world's leading chefs. In the culinary world, it is extremely prestigious to receive at least one Michelin star, and Alain Ducasse's restaurant received three such stars at once when he was only 33 years old. For young chefs like you, the Ducasse School is the perfect launch into your culinary future.”

However, the children still had to compete for the chance to get a culinary education in Paris - and the super finalists stood behind the work surfaces to show everything they were capable of.

Vova Motrichuk decided to prepare a rabbit tournedo with spinach, veloute sauce and red bell pepper sauce for the main course. For an appetizer, the boy chose scallop tartare with an unexpected white chocolate sauce, and for dessert, raspberry dacquoise. Vova decided to start with a rabbit, whose carcass he butchered with surgical precision.

As for Anton Buldakov-Alyushin, he compiled the following menu: appetizer - tuna steak breaded with coriander, main - duck breast with parsnips and sea buckthorn sauce, dessert - the author's variation of trifle. And the boy began his work with the most difficult dessert for himself...

Sasha Diyamanshtein decided to cook scallops with guacamole sauce for an appetizer, and chicken fillet with honey-garlic sauce and vegetable gratin for the main course. Of the sweet dishes, “Zefirka” decided on the “Three Apples” dessert. A lucky T-shirt with the inscription “Costa Brava” “helped” the boy to cook.

Before announcing the name of the winner, Hector Jimenez-Bravo announced no less wonderful news: “We have made an unprecedented decision - it concerns the winner, the other two super finalists, as well as the person who left the project one step before the super final...” Hearing the last phrase, Katya Sliwinskaya tensed.

“Katya, Anton, Sasha and Vova,” said Hector, “whoever wins today, you will all go to Paris together!”

Nicole seemed to be more happy than Katya...

Finally, the time has come to reveal the main intrigue of the season - and the judges took out an envelope with the name of the best young chef in the country.

It was Anton Buldakov-Alyushin. “I don’t believe it at all!- the boy comments on his victory. - When they turned my name up, it was as if snow had fallen from the mountain. Well, something like that... It's an indescribable feeling. I just can't believe it. It takes me a day or even a month to fully understand what happened. That is, everyone is happy, hugs me, congratulates me - but now I myself am kind of slow. I can't believe my luck. It’s like I’m sitting on some soft pillow in the clouds and chilling, not understanding what’s happening around me.”

Yesterday Ukraine learned the name of the winner of “MasterChef Kids” on the STB channel. The main young chef of the country was 13-year-old Kiev resident Anton Buldakov-Alyushin! Anton told the website about his fears, mistakes, signs before the final and his culinary interests

Anton, congratulations on your victory! Tell us how you felt when Hector Jimenez-Bravo called your name in the final?

Oh, I don't even know. In the first minutes I didn’t believe it at all. Before I even had time to realize that the winner was me, all the participants attacked me. Then I realized that a large crowd had gathered around me, everyone was shouting, trying to explain something to me. I don't even remember what Hector said.

And only when I realized that the name Anton seemed to sound, and that I was the winner of “MasterChef Kids”, all the adrenaline, all the nerves, all the fears and joys flew by in one second, and then the pleasure came

What did mom say?

Mom was crying. All my relatives did not understand what was happening. They congratulated us later. My older brother is very modest and not very emotional. But when I passed the casting, he couldn’t calm down for another week. And after the victory I was so jubilant. He said that he was proud that I was already a cool brother for him, and now I’m generally super cool.

The family didn’t immediately believe it either. Mom understood everything only when they handed me the cup.

How did you sleep before the final?

Oh, I slept well before the final. Although I am quite impressionable, I knew that I might not get enough sleep before the final, and then it would play a cruel joke on me. But, nevertheless, there were no problems with sleep. I woke up in a good mood and still followed my signs.

What signs?

Firstly, I have a children’s toy with which I simply feel psychological comfort, I love it very much. She helped me cope with every competition. And when Vlada Khristenko was leaving the project, she gave Tsilya and me one huge bar of chocolate each. And every day before the competition I ate a piece of chocolate to recharge myself with positive energy. As you can see, it helped (smiles).

Did it take you a long time to think through the menu for the super final?

To be honest, I came up with some of the outlines of the menu even before the super final. I just don’t like to announce anything in advance or guess about the future. This is not very reasonable, it can be offensive later and in general you can frighten away your luck.

But there were moments in which I was sure. For example, I knew a unique biscuit recipe. I also love tuna and I knew I would make a tuna steak. No one cooked tuna on MasterChef Kids, and it was not often used in the adult seasons either. I was sure, no matter what, there would be tuna for an appetizer!

Well, I thought about the final menu the day before the final.

You are already a winner. But still, if you look back, would you have corrected anything?

As they say, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. As for the relationship with the guys on the project, I wouldn’t change anything. As it was, so it was. I don't know what to fix. In my opinion, everything worked out as it should.

Couldn't you even make the tuna steak smaller?

Yes, the tuna would have been presented with less. Or there were culinary errors in my dessert. The dessert was intended to be one way, but in practice it turned out differently. And the main highlight of my dessert had to be the tea rose (I planned that it would simply kill the judges). But I just lost her. This was a fatal mistake.

Do you have any idols in the culinary world? Do you follow any chefs?

I have not yet had time to get carried away by other chefs. I know Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver and Hector Jimenez-Bravo. My grandmother loves England, everything English, she often watches the Jamie Oliver show. But I think that Hector as a person, as a cook and as a businessman is a good example of what direction to move in.

If a person wants to learn how to cook, in your opinion, where should they start? ?

You need to start with the basics. Everyone comes to the desire to cook after seeing a dish. You need to review many recipes for this dish, look at different interpretations, add something of your own. If it doesn't work out the first time, that's absolutely normal. You need to cook it many times, after 5-10 times the dish can become your signature dish.

Have you tried a dish that really impressed you?

It was probably sushi. I first tried them when I was three. But at the age of seven, I already began to realize everything and chose my menu. I was impressed by sushi because it is a Japanese dish and Japanese culture is very interesting. And sushi itself is very different, in each restaurant and in each region.

I have tried to replicate sushi many times. But this is a very long and labor-intensive process. It can be compared to preparing a pasta dessert; you also need to be careful.

Of course, I can repeat sushi or go learn how to make it. But there are such special dishes that let the people who invented them cook them well.

What's the most difficult dish you've ever prepared?

Before MasterChef Kids, I was basically a very closed-minded person. If I tried something tasty, the thought of repeating it at home never occurred to me. And only after the project I realized: anything can be prepared anywhere. The main thing is skills, knowledge and, of course, desire.

And now I see the presentation of the dish and take everything apart. What was placed correctly, what was not correctly, what was blocked, and so on. I draw conclusions for myself, and if I’m really hooked on this dish, then I repeat it at home.

So in a restaurant you now look at everything with an appraising gaze?

Yes Yes. For example, I recently ordered carbonara at one place. And they brought me pasta where the bacon was stuck together. That is, just as it was cut in the store, it was taken out of the pack in the kitchen - and served just the same. I was very outraged by this, but, however, I did not dare to criticize them.

Tell us about your first impressions of the project. What is it like to be on the other side of the screen?

Well... everything was very unusual. I haven't been on television before. Black cameras, tripods, cameramen, chairs, special T-shirts for microphones, a large filming crane (we called it Lucy) - many different things that were simply incomprehensible to me. Then it all became a habit, I even learned some operator terms. It took me a long time to get involved, but in the end I felt comfortable on the set.

Filming of the show “MasterChef Kids” (STB) ended at the end of February (the project was being recorded). During this time, the winner managed to take culinary courses at Alain Ducasse’s school in Paris (this is a bonus to 100 thousand hryvnia in prize money).

We congratulated Anton Buldakov-Alyushin on his victory and talked about the “delicacies” of life.

- Anton, admit it, have you already spent the monetary part of the prize?

I dreamed about orange sneakers. And already in the last minutes before leaving Paris I run into the network of the most expensive stores in France - Galeries Lafayette. I look - and there is my dream! Orange is my favorite color and I've been looking for an orange Nike Air Max for a whole year! When I saw them, it didn’t matter to me how much they cost (about 100 euros - Ed.). I bought it without even trying it on.

- I see that they have arrived.

Of course they came! But don’t look, they are a little dirty, I walked a lot (smiles). And washing them every day will only harm them.

- But not everything was spent on sneakers?

In the meantime, I don’t need anything else to be happy. The money is kept in our safe. It’s not like they’re lying in my nightstand and I’m tempted to pull out 100 hryvnia every day.

- So the money is set aside for some dream?

Certainly! Maybe for the implementation of some of my projects in the future. I just don't really need them right now. They lie down and “rest.” Money loves to be looked after. And we try to take good care of them.

- To look after - that is, to wipe the dust in the safe?

There is such a safe there that there can be no dust (laughs).

- You have already completed your studies in France. How was it?

After “MasterChef Kids,” the French could no longer surprise us with anything in the culinary sense (the finalists of the project studied at school with Anton: Vova Motrichuk, Katya Slivinskaya and Sasha Diyamanshtein. - Author). But the school was very beautiful and modern. The equipment was very modern. For example, all my life I dreamed of seeing a deep fryer. For example, I saw an ice cream maker on MasterChef, but a deep fryer... I liked it.

- You already have the title of winner of the children's “MasterChef”, you attended a French culinary school. What else do you want?

Don't even know. In any case, the winner of a cooking show should not immediately disappear. But I can’t say that I really want to be active all the time, cook, shine. I want to, of course, but not very often, as other MasterChef participants do. Therefore, in fact, I still don’t really know which direction I should go. Searching for myself.

- Well, how did you not make a mistake in three months and say that you are a winner?

We are not the talkative ones in our family (laughs). Although my mother likes to talk, I don’t. If they said you can’t talk, then you can’t. They held on as best they could.

ABOUT BEHIND THE SCENES OF FILMING

- Were there often quarrels between the participants?

There were no quarrels between the participants, we never fought with each other, and we didn’t really set ourselves up. Probably the most unsympathetic for most of the participants was Danya Kiva, because he had ambiguous behavior.

- What happens to the food that you prepare and give to the judges?

They say that then food producers simply take it away.

- So they won’t let you try?

After the judges?! No. Thank God they don't force me.

- And when the cameras turned off, didn’t you quarrel with each other?

No, of course not. We are still children. Most of the twenty were friendly. It happened that someone was angry with someone, maybe even called someone names, but it was not serious. Even if they quarreled on the set, they made up in the evening at the hotel.

- Did you live in the hotel yourself?

No. Everyone lived with one of the adults: with mom, dad, older brother, grandmother... I, for example, with mom and grandmother - they replaced each other.

May 25, 2016 Ukraine learned the name of the winner of “MasterChef Kids” on the STB channel. The main young chef of the country was 13-year-old Kiev resident Anton Buldakov-Alyushin! Anton told us about his fears, mistakes and his culinary interests.

To get into the STB project “MasterChef Children” - was it your decision or your parents’?

I have one extravagant classmate who advised me to apply for a casting.

What did you prepare before the project?

Various pancakes, sweet, savory, omelettes, casseroles, pies, desserts. But I didn’t consider myself an expert. After all, a chef cannot be a cook. until he comes up with his own recipe.

Where does your love for cooking come from? Is this mom's influence?

No... I remember my first steps: scrambled eggs, sandwiches. I wanted to surprise and please my family.

When did your hobby start?

I remember making pancakes when I was 6 years old. The first one, however, came out lumpy...

Anton, tell us what you learned from the project?

This is a very powerful culinary school. Before filming began, we taught about 10 recipes a day. There were also a lot of thematic competitions, I memorized new dishes, new combinations.

What has changed since the project?

I am not afraid to experiment; I have a fantasy and a desire to create my own dishes. Now I understand: you can cook something from any product.

What was the relationship like between the participants? Did you manage to make friends with anyone?

I'm not a very social person, I don't like to talk a lot on the phone, I can't make friends right away. I was very worried when I saw twenty children; I didn’t understand how to communicate with them. At first he was friends with Odessa (Nikita Letinsky). But then good relations were established with absolutely everyone. I still communicate with many people now, after the project.

How was it working in team competitions?

Team competitions are interesting and show off personality well. I was captain several times.

How did the children behave on and off camera?

As for me, the most honest person was Sonya Dedkova. Because if she didn’t like someone, she spoke openly both in person and in front of the camera.

What moments do you remember?

When my team made the pepper stew, Hector Jimenez-Bravo loved it so much that he finished it backstage! And of course, it’s nice to win competitions and hear praise from the judges. And it was especially fun at the hotel where we lived.

Did you feel stressed during the project?

It was hard in front of the tunics, when there were only 8 participants left. I also have a bad attitude towards insects. A mosquito is my limit, and on MasterChef I had to cook cockroaches and worms. It was a test. And another shock was the departure of my friend from Odessa.

Which judge impressed you the most?

Hector is primarily a high-level chef.

Do you think you need to be kind or tough to win MasterChef Kids?

You need to be humane. There must be a balance.

What advice can you give to children who are going to the second season of MasterChef Kids?

At the casting you need to prepare one dish. I advise you to memorize his recipe and draw up a detailed action plan, because most people get lost in front of the camera. And if you go further, you need to listen to the advice of the judges, constantly develop and learn new recipes.
