According to the proposed recipe, bread with garlic can be baked in any model of bread machine. This garlic bread recipe was also tested in the slow cooker and oven. In the last two cases, the bread machine was used to knead dough for bread.

How to bake garlic bread (bread with garlic) in a bread maker

Depending on the model of your bread machine, food is placed into it. Some models have dry ingredients first, others have liquids first, and then dry ingredients in the form of flour with yeast.

If the kefir is cold, you need to warm it up a little, and to avoid additional steps, you can pour in hot water and cold kefir, then, after mixing, these ingredients will become warm.

The garlic must first be chopped.

So, pour water and kefir into the bread machine bucket.

Add the required amount of sugar.

Add the required amount of salt.

Add dill.

Sprinkle flax seeds.

Add garlic; it can be crushed directly over the bucket.

Pour out the vegetable oil.

Sift the flour and add to the bucket. Wheat flour is used.

All that remains is to add the yeast.

Insert the bucket into the bread maker. Select the 3-hour mode, as in the Philips “Quick White Bread” bread machine.

The recipe for this bread is in the recipe book that came with my Redmond RBM M1902 bread machine. Everything would be fine, but the recipes consist only of listing the order in which the ingredients are added and the baking mode. Sometimes you have to rack your brain about whether to melt the butter or put it in pieces, whether to fry the onion or put it raw, etc.

These are all very important points, since the amount of liquid ingredients has slightly increased, their ratio with dry ingredients has been disrupted, and the bread may end up with a failed crust or a sticky crumb. You have to do it in accordance with your ideas and adjust it for the future if you fail.

I was successful with the garlic bread. The bread came out tall and fluffy (even tried to rise to the lid), difficult to cut, easier to break. It doesn't have a distinct flavor, but when you eat it, the garlic and dill add a great flavor to the bread. Great with first and second courses, and it’s also great to make my favorite cheese sandwiches.

  1. Insert the dough paddle and pour water into the bread pan.

  2. Add olive oil.

  3. Then add sour cream.

  4. It is advisable to sift the flour so that the bread fits well. Pour into mold.

  5. Pour yeast into the well in the flour, and sugar and salt in the corners.

  6. The garlic must be finely chopped with a knife or garlic press. Add it along with the herbs to the flour (you can use frozen dill).

  7. Insert the pan into the bread maker and select the basic or French baking program. The crust is medium or dark.

    Observing the specified proportions, you will get a soft and, at the same time, elastic dough. If it is liquid, add a little flour.

  8. While kneading the dough, the amazing aroma of garlic and herbs will waft through the kitchen. Spicy and mind-blowing.

    After three and a half hours (four) you will have this bread that is perfect, browned and looks very appetizing! Loaf weight – 600 g.

  9. Cut the bread when it has cooled completely. Use a file knife to cut the crispy crust.

  3. The dishes must be covered with cling film or foil and placed in a warm place for 50 minutes.
  4. Knead the risen dough after greasing your hands with oil.
  5. Leave the dough warm for 30 minutes.
  6. To prepare the sauce, melt the butter and cool it to room temperature.
  7. Add finely grated garlic to the oil. Add salt and dill there. Mix.
  8. Divide the dough into 3 equal pieces. Roll them out separately into a round shape.
  9. Thoroughly season the first pancake with sauce and place in a pan covered with parchment.
  10. Place another flatbread coated with sauce on top.
  11. We do the same with the 3rd flatbread. We cut the three-layer loaf with a knife into 6 pieces, not reaching the middle. She must remain untouched.
  12. Each part is twisted twice. The loaf begins to resemble the shape of a flower.
  13. The hardest part is over. You need to leave the product for 30 minutes in a warm place. At this time, set the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  14. Garlic bread bakes for about 40 minutes. The signal of readiness will be a golden brown crust on the surface of the loaf.

With olive oil

Garlic bread prepared according to this recipe is considered the easiest and healthiest.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • flour - 0.5 kg;
  • large egg - 1 pc.;
  • salt – 0.5 tbsp. l.;
  • sugar – 0.5 tbsp. l.;
  • olive oil - 20 g;
  • yeast - 11 g (standard sachet);
  • boiled water – 200 ml.

Ingredients for garlic fudge:

  • olive oil - 50 ml;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • salt - 0.5 tsp;
  • confectionery poppy seed - 1 tsp.

Preparation:

  1. Sift the flour through a fine sieve. If necessary, repeat the process.
  2. Pour the yeast with warm water and sugar. Let it brew for 7-10 minutes.
  3. Mix the ingredients for making the dough. Add active yeast with water. Mix everything thoroughly.
  4. Leave the dough for 30 minutes in a warm place. The bowl should be tightly covered with film.
  5. Punch down the dough and leave to rise for another 40 minutes.
  6. At this time, you can start preparing the sauce. Mix grated garlic, oil, salt.
  7. Form 10 even balls and coat them with garlic fudge.
  8. Arrange the buns in a pan lined with parchment. There should be a small distance between them. Sprinkle the future loaf with poppy seeds and place in a warm place for 20 minutes.
  9. Place the garlic bread with olive oil in the oven. Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
  10. Take out the rosy product and let it cool.

Before eating, the bread can be greased with the remaining sauce. This will give it juiciness and enhance the aroma.

Cooking in a bread machine

Garlic bread is suitable for first and second courses, sandwiches. To add spice to the flour product, add some herbs.

Ingredients:

  • flour – 400-420 g;
  • water – 250 ml;
  • sunflower oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • sour cream – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • yeast – 1 tsp;
  • salt – 1 tsp;
  • sugar – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • garlic – 3 cloves;
  • dill greens - 2 branches.

Preparation:

  1. Before kneading the dough, you need to prepare the bread machine for use and insert a spatula into it.
  2. Put butter, water, sour cream into the mold.
  3. Sift the flour, add it to the rest of the ingredients, make a well.
  4. Pour yeast, sugar, salt into the well.
  5. Grate the garlic, chop the dill. Add the mixture to the mold.
  6. Cooking in a bread machine. We insert the form with the dough into it, set the “basic baking” program.

The dough should be pliable but elastic. After 4 hours, the bread will come out golden brown with the aroma of garlic. It is recommended to cut the chilled product.

A simple recipe in a frying pan

Delicious garlic bread can be prepared in 15 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • bread - bun;
  • refined sunflower oil – 10 tbsp. l.;
  • salt – 1 tsp;
  • garlic – 3 cloves.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the bread into 1 cm thick pieces.
  2. Preheat the stove to medium temperature. Pour oil into the pan.
  3. Fry the pieces on both sides for 2 minutes.
  4. Leave the bread to cool, placing the pieces on a flat plate.
  5. Mix the garlic, passed through a press, with salt, and grind over the croutons.

This bread will be a tasty addition to borscht. Garlic croutons made from black bread are especially popular.

Cheese garlic bread

No time to bake? The best option is to make an unusual delicacy from a factory-made flour product.

Ingredients:

  • bread - 1 loaf;
  • butter – 150 g;
  • hard cheese – 120 g;
  • garlic – 3 cloves.

Preparation:

  1. Melt butter, grated garlic and cheese, mix thoroughly.
  2. Divide the bread into pieces, spread cheese and garlic sauce on one side.
  3. Wrap the bread slices in foil and place them in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Probably everyone who has a bread machine in the house has at least once conducted some experiments in baking bread. My family loves the regular one, so I bake it all the time, sometimes changing the grade of flour. And today I decided to experiment and baked bread with cheese and garlic in a bread machine(I have an LG stove).

To prepare bread with cheese and garlic in a bread machine we will need:

  • 160 ml water or whey,
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil,
  • 300 grams of flour (I took general purpose flour, it makes my bread more fluffy, but you can also use premium bakery flour),
  • 1 teaspoon of dry fast-acting yeast or 10-12 grams of live yeast,
  • 1 tablespoon sugar,
  • 1 teaspoon salt,
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered milk,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • 100 grams of hard, not too salty cheese (I used Parmesan).

    This time I was baking bread with live yeast, so I dissolved the yeast in warm (not hot) water. Dry instant yeast is added directly to the flour. Added olive oil.

    Sift flour on top of the liquid, add salt, sugar and milk powder.

    Place the bucket in the bread maker and select the beepper mode. I chose the “Special” mode, but you can also use the “Basic” mode.

    While the first batch of dough is in progress, grate the cheese on a coarse grater and the garlic on a fine grater.

    When the beep sounds, during the second kneading, add the cheese and garlic to the bread machine bucket. Don't forget to close the lid of the bread machine!

    This is where our work ended, all we have to do is wait for the oven to knead and bake the delicious bread.

    At the end of the mode, take out the fragrant and beautiful bread, cool it, cut it and serve.
