Nowadays, food chains have divided the consumer society; each chain has its own pool of regular customers who only go there, despite the fact that the prices are similar and the assortment is similar. Then which is better? Is there a real difference and, if so, where is it tastier, cheaper and better? What do you choose?

1.Brand atmosphere.
The undisputed leader here is McDuck. It is older, more famous, it has a charity program, nicer staff (mostly non-migrants) and the visitors are nicer here too. The only negative is that there is too much negativity associated with the quality of the cutlets. The other two networks are several steps lower in appearance. And BK doesn’t even have advertising, it’s loud, but very rare.

2. Taste.
Complex indicator. In addition, it is difficult to determine, since all chains probably use flavor enhancers. True, KFC has an advantage - all their meat is breaded, which means extra taste. The sandwiches of other chains are much bland in this sense. Although I like French fries better at McDonald's. My opinion here is that KFC is better.

3. Prices are a separate issue for research; in general, this is one level. The minimum set in all chains costs the same, plus or minus, and then McDonald's is more expensive. Plus KFC and Burger King

4.Assortment.
KFC and Burger King have beer, McDonald's and KFC have desserts, potatoes are the same, McDonald's has more drinks, and the total number of meat dishes is probably greater at KFC, while this chain only has chicken dishes, and in other places there is more variety and McDonald's has fish sandwiches. +1 to McDonald's

5.Availability of shares.
McDonald's doesn't have them at all; Burger King is trying, but is marking time. KFS has something new every month and a half, there are lunches, there are coupons, there are combined offers. Plus of this company

6. Menu updateability.
McDonald's has another disadvantage - new items are very rare. BK is not far behind, but KFC is again in the black.

7.Speed of purchase.
McDonald's has had vending machines in full operation for a long time, although you can wait a long time for your order. Once I waited 10 minutes and my order number completely disappeared from the display, they forgot about it. KFS is just introducing this method of ordering, I used it 2 times and the first time I waited a very long time. At Burger King, the regular service line is very long. According to this indicator, it’s better, after all, McDonald’s, at least you can’t hear the screams there - “two spicy longers, please,” “Shohrat, another Big King!” McDonald's takes the point.

8. Quality.
On the one hand, the kitchens are clean, the delivery channels are well-functioning, this is not a station bustle, on the other hand, in the pursuit of money, few can refuse to reduce costs. The quality of meat in McDonald's and Burger King burgers raises big questions...here the palm is taken by KFC, whose chicken dishes are not made from minced meat, where you can stuff anything, but exclusively from white chicken meat (well, except for legs and wings). Therefore, there is more trust here. Plus another point of chicken mains.

Thus, Burger King has 1 point, the chain has almost no advantages. 3 points for McDonald's. And 5 points for KFC. The colonel's chicken wins.

I don’t know what happened, but I suddenly fell in love with drinking cappuccino, although, in principle, I always consumed coffee in super-limited quantities - I only drank one cup in a month. I already wrote a little about my modest Minsk experience as a cappuccino maker on Facebook: I found a couple of places where I like it, but in general, coffee shops often offer drinks that are not very tasty. The main problem is inconsistency; Today they will make excellent coffee, tomorrow there will be slop. And the price has no effect on this! A cappuccino for 5 rubles can easily be worse than for 3. Another problem is the underdevelopment of coffee shop chains. There are many coffee outlets in the city, but there are few chain stores, which means there is not even a chance of scaling uniform standards and approaches, there is a lottery everywhere. Oddly enough, the largest chain coffee shops are the classic fast food ones, which have proliferated in great numbers in Minsk. In total, McDonald's, Burger King and KFC are 39 (!) points in the capital, including the airport. It makes sense to try a cappuccino from each of these brands, doesn't it? Where is it okay and where does it suck? You will find out only in this blog!

At all three chains, a large portion of cappuccino costs 3 rubles 30 kopecks. But its size varies: “Mak” and BC pour 300 ml of the drink, KFC – 400. By the way, the standard portion at KFC is also 100 grams larger.

It is curious that the calorie content of cappuccino varies from chain to chain. Either it was calculated “by eye”, or the fat content of the milk used influences this (I don’t believe this, if anything). Thus, KFC and Burger King have approximately the same energy value of the drink (about 50 kcal/100 ml), while coffee from the McDonald’s chain is estimated at approximately 36 kcal/100 ml.

The cappuccino impressions are given in the order in which I tried them.

McDonald's

I am sure that in “Mak” a technological Talmud has been written for any position, and the taste has been verified by a focus group of a million people. And the cappuccino here is the same: it will please everyone, but will not surprise anyone. Neutral-tasting drink without any special notes. There is a complete feeling that it was cooked by a soulless, obedient robot (which is, in fact, what it is), strictly following the Talmud.

Beer lovers have the term “drinkable” - so the cappuccino from McDonald’s is the most drinkable. The serving temperature is noticeably high, the drink is so hot that you won’t be able to drink it immediately upon receipt. Probably, in the summer it would be possible to unscrew the temperature setting knob, but Carefully Verified Standards do not allow it.

Burger King

Much brighter coffee, but whether this is a plus or a minus remains to be seen. The cappuccino at Burger King was noticeably bitter. Well, not enough to complain to the blog, but still it distinguished it from the previous copy. However, as for me, the drink seemed interesting, although it is clearly not for everyone. Burger King uses a distinctly different mixture of grains.

The serving temperature is lower than Makov’s, but still hot. Which, again, in my opinion, is much better than slightly warmed water - many coffee shops are guilty of this.

Perhaps, indistinct coffee. From the same class as McDonald's - for everyone and for everyone, drinkable, in short. At the same time, the taste is not as balanced as that of its competitor; you can feel some extraneous flavor, and I bet it was brought in by the coffee mixture.

However, the serving temperature is spot on: hot enough to enjoy and drink immediately after ordering.

Conclusions! “Mac” is suitable for anyone; even children will understand this coffee. Burger King is for those who like prominent grain notes. KFC - I don't recommend it.

As a student, I worked for quite a long time in one of the large fast food chains (IKEA Restaurant), so I understand something about this. Let's try to figure it out.

As a rule, large fast food chains, such as Mak, KFC, BK, IKEA Restaurant, very closely monitor the quality and freshness of the products from which they prepare their, so to speak, dishes. Each network has strict regulations and food safety rules. These rules are like commandments; they are hammered into the employee’s head from the first days of work, and they also very strictly ensure that these rules are followed. If you do not wash your hands before entering the kitchen or do not wear a hat and apron, you may receive a reprimand from the manager. Close attention is paid to the shelf life of products; all dishes that, for some reason, remain longer than the expected sales date are mercilessly written off and thrown away. Here you will not find microwave ovens where a pre-prepared burger will be heated for you, everything, so to speak, in the heat of the moment. No one needs poisoning scandals and, as a result, loss of consumer trust and brand image as a whole. There have been cases where people were fired because they systematically violated these rules.

Suppliers, by the way, are chosen very carefully, paying attention not only to product quality, production technology, but also to the legal purity of the counterparty. For example, if you own a poultry farm and want to supply chicken to one of the chains, then you must undergo an audit and not only provide all the certificates from the veterinary inspection and other regulatory authorities, but actually allow certified auditors into the territory of your enterprise. They will personally take tests, delve into your documents and study the technological process. The check is carried out according to a checklist, all points that can only be satisfied by a serious, proven and large supplier. There have been cases when violations are discovered among existing suppliers, after which deliveries are immediately stopped until the violations are eliminated, and the products that remain in the warehouses of the establishments are sent back or destroyed. Maybe someone remembers when IKEA stopped selling hot dogs at all for a while? So this is exactly the case.

Taking into account all of the above, we can safely say that eating in these establishments is at least safe. There were, of course, cases of poisoning, but these were isolated cases, and there were very few of them. I can say with confidence that the likelihood of getting poisoned in a more or less decent cafe is much higher.

And now about the harmfulness. It is probably stupid to compare CFC, MAC, and BC on this parameter. The recipe and cooking technology are approximately the same everywhere; moreover, it is possible that some of the chain’s products are purchased from the same suppliers. Fast food can only be harmful when it becomes the basis of the diet. If you only eat burgers and wash it all down with cola or milkshakes, then you will undoubtedly have health problems. It's no secret that most fast food products are high in calories, have a large amount of not always healthy fats, and soda and cocktails contain huge amounts of sugar. With daily excessive consumption, problems with excess weight, as a result, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and other disorders are guaranteed. But what is the difference between, for example, my mother’s cutlets made from minced beef bought in Pyaterochka, fried in a frying pan with the addition of a large amount of butter, spices and breading, from the same cutlets made from poppy seeds and BC? Nothing really... The same minced meat that is made from the meat of animals raised on antibiotics and steroids, vegetable oil rich in fats, the quality of which is quite questionable, and if it also comes with pasta from a local factory, flavored with "ketchenese" sauce, then mmm , beauty in general... I would argue here which is more harmful to your figure and health.

From this we conclude: Moderate consumption of fast food is not harmful, but it is also not worth asserting its benefits. Nothing bad will happen to you and your figure if you allow yourself a burger or breaded wings fried once a week. To be beautiful and healthy, you better watch your diet, we sin on fast food, although we ourselves eat who knows what. More fresh vegetables and fruits, less fatty foods and sugar, but that's a completely different story.

People, forget about all sorts of smartphones and gadgets, androids and that’s all. I have the question of the century - which fast food is better out of these two?

But now you don’t need to tell everyone that owners of luxury Apple smartphones don’t eat in such places. Look back there only iPhones and it’s visible.

In general, there has been a war between these fandoms for a long time. I want to know what you think.

McDuck: proven theme

Double Royal at McDuck

No matter where you go, you can eat without getting poisoned. Then there is a feeling of a brick inside, but nothing can be done about it. Fast food and fast food in Africa.

Mac still has the most normal coffee. For 90 rubles you can get a cappuccino that at least looks like something real.

Other fast foods have some kind of swill instead of coffee.

KFC: healthier and normal promotions

Strips at KFC

KFC seems to be healthier, they also have chicken everywhere. But it contains breading, that is, fat and other nasty things that have nothing in common with normal nutrition. Yes, and the chicken seems to be pumped up with something too.

Strips are a normal topic, if not spicy. Although it depends on who. There is pevko on the menu, which is always good.

At KFC very often killer promotions: recently for 300 rubles you could get a giant box with all kinds of chicken.

You can't eat it alone at all. And mobile apps often have discount coupons. And there is still delivery there.

What's cooler? I'm for Mac

Before you start arguing that it’s completely disgusting, I’ll counter: you’re just not eating it right.

Catch this life hack: We take any normal burger, remove everything from it except the buns, cheese and meat. You can also add bacon. And suddenly it becomes edible, tastes like meat and generally feels almost like home.

Well, now it's your turn. Mac or KFC?

Today’s article will tell fast food lovers about where it is better to go for their favorite delicacy, as well as a number of features of each establishment, and you will have to judge which one you like best.

Nowadays, fast food sets are gaining popularity more than ever. Their dishes cannot leave anyone indifferent, and frequent advertisements lure customers to their place. Many people wonder: where should they go? And where does the food taste better? And what is better than Burger King, or McDonald's, or KFS? Well, today we will try to answer these kinds of questions.

Until relatively recently, a few years ago, it would seem that McDonald's had no equal, this made it very in demand and popular among avid street food eaters. But over time, this fast food chain quickly began to create competition with such establishments as Kentucky fried chicken (literal translation) and Burger King, adding hot new items that you did not see at McDonald's. Since the forties, McDuck (as it is also called) has not fallen out of first place in the ranking for sales of its products, but after the emergence of competition, it began to be forced out of its boring first places and compete by offering visitors more and more new items on the menu.

Burger King became popular very quickly among lovers mainly of hamburgers, and KFS became famous thanks to its legendary chicken wings. After its discovery, many tried to repeat the recipe, but were able to repeat the same crispy taste.

Before deciding which is better Burger King, or McDonald's, or KFS, let's compare these establishments with each other.

  • If you are a lover of different types of hamburgers and want to try completely new types, prepared according to different recipes and which will have completely different aftertastes. With each of their innovations, they surprise us with their variety of sauces and ingredients that will be included in your favorite non-competitive dish.
  • If you prefer fried, crispy chicken in different servings and cooking methods, you have no choice but to go to a KFS establishment that specializes mainly in cooking chicken;
  • Well, if you are a lover of the classics and want to try recipes that have been proven over the years, then go to McDonald's. By the way, for lovers of healthy eating, this establishment introduced salads and carrot sticks to the menu to expand its consumer audience.

It is worth paying attention to the fact that if you are obese, you need to limit your consumption of this type of food to prevent the situation from worsening. And for fans of healthy eating, it should be remembered that lettuce leaves are also treated with a substance to maintain the shape and crunch of the leaves. Although this substance is recognized as suitable for consumption, you yourself must understand that such food can no longer be called healthy.
