We take our meatballs out of the refrigerator and put them in a cauldron. Bring everything back to a boil and reduce the heat. While the dish is simmering over low heat, we will prepare the rice. Wash the cereal thoroughly in water and spread it in an even layer on top of the meatballs. Now increase the heat and evaporate all the water. After this, use a slotted spoon to collect the rice in a mound toward the center of the cauldron and use a wooden spoon to make holes so that any remaining moisture can escape. Next, reduce the heat and cover the container with a lid. Rice should simmer until done. Cooking time depends on the type of cereal. Remove the finished dish from the heat, stir and leave to brew. And only after twenty minutes we serve it on the table.

Cooking meatballs

Grind the chicken pulp with the addition of soaked and squeezed white bread. Add onion to the minced meat (finely chop the green one, grate the onion). Mix well. Cut the prepared minced meat into balls, roll in flour and immediately fry in a frying pan in oil.

How to cook minced chicken meatballs with gravy

1. First you need to boil the rice. The softest meatballs are obtained with short-grain rice, for example, with “Kuban”. Fill it with a glass of water, add a couple of pinches of salt and cook without a lid until all the water has evaporated. The rice does not have to be completely boiled. It will reach its proper condition during the process of stewing the meatballs, having absorbed the aromatic gravy.

2. The onion can be turned through a meat grinder or grated. Lately, the second method has become somehow closer to me. After grating, a certain amount of onion juice is obtained - I drain it.

3. Place minced chicken, rice, onion, egg in a large bowl, add salt and pepper.

4. Mix everything. Pour flour into a bowl. Place a frying pan on the stove. We heat it up quite high - we will need to fry the meatballs until crusty so that all the juice remains inside. And this is best done at high temperature. Next, with wet hands, form small meatballs. Place in flour, bread and pan.

This is the most time-consuming moment in the cooking process. We mold - roll - fry until golden brown - turn over, fry on the second side - remove the finished ones from the frying pan and place in a dish. I got 25 meatballs.

5. Let's make the gravy. To make it especially aromatic, let’s do a simple procedure: pour oil into a large frying pan and put a clove of garlic, cut into 3-4 parts, into it. Place the frying pan on the fire. Fry the garlic until it turns yellow. At the same time, finely chop the onion. When the garlic is fried, remove it and throw it away. You will appreciate the flavor the garlic gives the oil. Place the onion in it and fry until transparent, stirring, for 5-7 minutes.

6. Chop the mushrooms into smaller pieces. Add them to the fried onions, stir and fry for another 5 minutes. Finely chopped mushrooms cook very quickly. Then add flour and mix. This will allow us to make a lump-free sauce.

7. Place sour cream on the frying pan. Pour water into a jar of sour cream and shake to pick up all the remains. Pour into the sauce. We wait for it to boil and stir. Taste the sauce and add salt to taste if necessary.

8. Place the meatballs in the sauce. Add the remaining water on top. Close the lid. Reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Meatballs prepared according to this recipe turn out to be very tender and “juicy”, despite the fact that they are prepared from chicken breast, which itself is considered dietary and rather dry meat. Both adults and children will like them, and they can be combined with almost any side dish. Try making them - it's quite simple and doesn't require much time or expense.

For the chicken meatballs:

400 g chicken breast fillet;

1 small head of red sweet onion;

3 pieces of loaf;

100 g milk;

salt, ground black pepper, curry - to taste.

200 g chicken broth;

100 g milk;

10 g butter;

1 tbsp. l. (without a slide) potato starch;

salt, ground black pepper - to taste.

Wash the chicken breasts, dry them, cut into medium cubes and add to the chopper. Add grated onion (onion can be finely chopped, but grated it turns out more tender in meatballs), salt, pepper. Punch with a chopper.








Turn off the heat, add the remaining butter, stir, cover the meatballs with a lid and let them simmer for about 7-10 minutes. Serve the meatballs hot with a side dish of your choice.
