That ended the birthday of Eugene. My family celebrated it in the restaurant during the day.

It took about 40 minutes (due to the fact that the cakes are baked in a pan). Plus, the same amount of cake was soaked in cream in the fridge while we watched the third series of “The Adventures of Electronics”. We have long been going to show the children this old tape, because we decided that we wanted twins, just after watching it. As you know, we have succeeded.

Dough:

  • Premium wheat flour - 360 gr
  • Sour cream 25% - 200 gr
  • Sugar - 150 gr
  • Butter - 30 gr
  • Soda - 1 teaspoon

  • Vanillin - 1.5 gr (bag)

Cream:

  • Sour cream 25% - 600 gr
  • Sugar - 180 gr
  • Vanillin - 1.5 gr (bag)

Preparation of "Sour Cream"

For less effort, I kneaded the dough in, sending food into the form in the following sequence: 1) sour cream, 2) butter, 3) sugar, 4) salt, 5) vanillin, 6) flour, 7) soda. Put the program "Kneading" for 15 minutes. If you knead manually, the order of mixing the ingredients does not matter.

The dough should be sticky from sugar, but not sticky, roll well.

Form sausage from dough and cut it into eight equal parts.


Take one piece and roll it into a pancake approximately 3 mm thick. This dough is easy to roll out - you do not have to push the rolling pin hard.

Lid from the pan, cut off the edges of the pancake so that they are smooth.

Pick a suitable size pan with non-stick coating. Bake a pancake on both sides in a dry frying pan (without butter). It is important not to gape - only you have time to roll out a new piece of dough, as the previous pancake is already rosy.


In about 10 minutes there should be nine shortcakes (the ninth - from the scraps of dough after cutting smooth edges).

The cream is easier to prepare - just mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla.

Grease each layer and sides of the cake with sour cream. Do not feel sorry for the cream on the cakes - it is enough in abundance.


For about 40-50 minutes, put the cake in the fridge so that it is soaked. A delicious tea party!

Ingredients for "Cake Smetannik" in a pan ": Sour cream dough (10-20% fat) - 200 g Sugar - 200 g Soda - 1 tsp. Flour (- 0.5 cup) - 3 stack. Cream Sour cream (27% fat) - 400 ml Sugar - 1 stack. Vanillin - 1 g

Recipe "Cake" Smetannik "in a pan":

Mix sour cream, sugar, soda (you can pay off, but not necessarily, because there is sour cream).
   Add flour and knead soft, elastic dough.
   Flour leaves 3-3.5 glasses.
   Heavy flour is not necessary)

Divide the dough into 8-9 balls.
   I got 9 cakes (out of 8 balls of dough and 1 out of scraps of dough).

Roll each ball in a circle of the desired diameter.

I roll to the size of the frying pan, on which I will bake - it is 22 cm.

I cut off the lid, which, like the pan, 22 cm)

Trimming will go on the 9th cake (and can be left for sprinkling).

I cut and carefully transfer to a pre-heated pan.
