Potatoes are washed, cleaned and cut each tuber into 4 parts. Then we put it in a saucepan, pour it with water and set it on medium heat to make it taste better. 10 minutes before the readiness, add the laurel leaf and peeled onions. After the time has elapsed, carefully pour the water into a separate bowl, we take out the ray and the laurel leaf. We leave the lid of the pot open, so that the potatoes are slightly dried.

Then carefully knead it, so that there are no lumps. Milk is heated in a bucket, but do not boil it, and pour it into the potatoes. Once again, we warm everything up thoroughly to make a homogeneous puree-like mass. Now in the potato broth we throw canned green peas, put on a plate, bring to a boil and discard it in a colander.

We let the fluids drain and mix peas. When serving on the table, put the mass on the plates, smooth the surface with a spoon and make a small groove on the top in the form of a pattern. We pour the puree from the canned green peas with the melted cream butter and sprinkle with herbs.

Mashed potatoes with green peas and garlic

Ingredients:

  • potatoes - 1 kg;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • frozen green peas - 350 g;
  • butter - 25 g;

At this moment, the aroma of herbs, especially mint, fills the entire kitchen and begins to run salivating. Mint is especially combined with green peas, I would say: perfect!

I cook puree from frozen green peas, if you use fresh, then, of course, it needs to be cleaned. Pour the green peas into the pan, do not thaw, mix, cover and reduce the fire. We wait until it is defrosted and stewed until ready for 5-10 minutes. During this time we constantly try peas: it should become soft and sweet. As soon as he reaches the desired state, turn off the fire. Open the lid, salt and pepper.
